What is going on? I got my wife an auto-draw, and a auto-league. I cannot believe it. My wife is playing fantasy football, and doing a great job right now. She has one player who got 21 points this thursday as the NFL kicked off. I cannot believe it. How amazing is that. How exciting is that. I am excited. Her team name...Calvin's Blaise.
Last year was my first year of Fantasy Football. I was hesitant going into it, but now it is something that I am excited about. It was great. I really enjoyed getting into the excitement of the whole season, and the whole league. If my favorite team is out of the playoff hunt, I can still get excited about the rest of the season. Fantasy football has been a great thing to be a part of. I am looking forward to the draft tomorrow.
I am reading through a great book, and as is with any Eugene Peterson book for me, it is a book that takes time to read. But this book has been great has been great to read. I am so thankful for this read. It is so counter cultural, in that it is always challenging not growth, but following Jesus. I am so thankful for Peterson’s thoughts on not allowing the ends to justify the means. He is a great author, and this book has been a great challenge for me. I am thankful for this book.
